I've recieved my Slytherin tie, my skirt, and now all I've got to do is tea-dye my shirt. I might get new shoes too since my current ones are too little girlish. I need sexy Slytherin shoes. (Whoo for alliteration.) I'm still knitting The Striped Monstrosity From Hell, which will never be finished in time for the premiere.

I went to Hobby Lobby today to get crocheting supplies, and of course wandered into the fabric section, where I found the perfect crimson satin for the smouldering temptress dress for 2.99/yard. Moulin Rouge cosplay, here I come.

I went to Target yesterday and bought my tights. I also bought a tie from wizardties.com because I am lazy and don't feel like painting one myself. Please God, let it get here by June 4. I really want to wear a scarf but it's gonna be around 90 that day, and all I'm wearing is the skirt and shirt and tie (it's like Hogwarts casual!), plus every bloody time I start the scarf I drop stitches.

I got to the 23rd row and screwed up. And I worked on that for about six hours, too. I'll never have a scarf in time for the premiere!!!

I've decided to start a blog for all my cosplay related projects so I won't swap my LJ. First on the to-do list is the PoA premiere outfit.

Need: Skirt, tights, tie, and scarf.

I think I'm gonna see if I can knit a scarf by June 4. The skirt and tie are off of Ebay, and all I've got to do for the shirt is tea dye one of my old work shirts. Tights from Target, baby.

Hopefully this will work out okay. :)
